INDIVIDUALITY
AND TOGETHERNESS.
The ICM logo uses South African flag colours in the shape of a human head, representing individuality and yet togetherness - Ubuntu.
The national flag is central to the identity of the logo, reinforcing the values of the country and reflecting ICM’s goal of contributing towards a South Africa that serves all its people.
EVERY COLOUR
HAS MEANING.
The colours reflect different parts of South Africa’s story - its land, its wealth, its past and its future.
THE LAND
Green symbolises the fertility of the land and reflects ICM’s belief in coexistence, common values, shared goals and synergy between citizens.
OUR WEALTH
Gold represents the mineral wealth of South Africa and the resources with which the country has been blessed.
OUR PAST
Red symbolises the violence of South Africa’s past - a history that must be remembered if the country is to move forward with purpose.
OUR FUTURE
Blue represents the future and the endless possibilities that remain ahead for South Africa.
DIFFERENT MINDS.
ONE COLLECTIVE.
The puzzle pieces represent independent thinking among the people of the country while working together as a collective to attain common interests.
Each piece is distinct, yet every piece contributes towards something larger than itself.
Independent in mind. United in diversity.
THE CITIZEN
AT THE CENTRE.
The human head reinforces the idea that ICM begins with the individual citizen - their thinking, their responsibility and their contribution to society.
EVERY CITIZEN IS DIFFERENT.
EVERY CITIZEN HAS A ROLE.
TOGETHER, WE FORM THE WHOLE.
INDEPENDENT
IN MIND.
UNITED IN DIVERSITY.
The ICM identity reflects a movement of citizens who may come from different backgrounds, communities and experiences, but who can work together around shared values and common purpose.
